On the 11th of September 2020 in the National Institute of Fredric Chopin in Warsaw took place final hearings of records submitted to the competition. P.A. LABS company had a privilege to participate in this event as a supplier of audio equipment of the highest class.
The GigaWatt PC-4 EVO conditioner and the Marton Opusculum Reference 3 amplifier were used in the referential system of playing records during the IX. International record competition “Grand Prix du Disque Frederic Chopin”.
Many specialists believe the piano to be the most difficult instrument to be properly recreated by the audio devices. We are proud that our products have fulfilled all the expectations of the high jury, head of which this year was professor Bronisława Kawalla.
The host of the competition is The Frederic Chopin Society which mission is expanding the knowledge of Frederic Chopin and promoting his works. The goal of the competition, of which the first edition took place in 1985, is disseminating and rewarding the best Chopin records by phonographic studios all around the world.

Jury evaluated 51 albums, (one or two discs) submitted by 7 phonographic companies.
Since the 9th edition of “Grand Prix du Disque Frederic Chopin” Warsaw 2020 competition the awards have been given in 3 main categories.
